Acoustic limitor action by cutting electric power

  • Acoustic limiters are devices for controlling, storing and limiting an acoustic pressure level.
  • When the pressure threshold programmed in the DBA is exceeded, the limiter shuts off the sound after a certain time.
  • A light can be connected to the acoustic limiter to signal to the user that the programmed sound level has been exceeded. The measured sound level is displayed on the unit (1 and 2) or on a remote display (1a and 2a). A history is kept of each event.
  • These devices are mainly intended for places where amplified music is played, such as bars, multi-purpose rooms, etc.
  • They comply with directive 98/1143.
